The University System of Maryland recently passed a tuition increase and a one-time surcharge for the University of Maryland, effective for the spring 2015 semester. See message from President Loh here.
- TIMETABLE
- These increases will be posted to students' billing accounts on February 10, 2015. These charges will be included in the electronic billing statement generated on February 25, 2015. These charges will be due by April 20, 2015.
- CREDITS
- All Pell grant eligible students (full-time and part-time) will have a credit post covering both the tuition and the surcharge increases. The Financial Aid office will provide to the Bursar a list of Pell eligible students beginning Friday, February 13, 2015 and the Bursar will post credits to offset the increases. The list of Pell eligible students will be provided throughout the semester to cover late FAFSA filers and students who are now going through verification.
- Full Banneker/Key, TAES Scholarship recipients will also get these increases offset by the Bursar.
