Additional Information for Incoming Freshman & Transfer Students
The University Of Maryland's internal system looks at each student account when deciphering which Terp Payment Plan (if any) to present as available for enrollment.
Our automated process is looking to confirm a student has registration for the upcoming semester before presenting the plan's enrollment page. As an incoming Freshman or Transfer student you will not automatically see any plans available to you if attempting to enroll prior to registering for courses for the term in which you want a plan.
We are happy to make the plan available to you in these cases. Simply email our service center at billtalk@umd.edu. Include your University ID (UID) number and tell us you want to enroll in the TPP prior to registering for term courses.
