Duplicate Billing Corrected

On 9/18/2020, The UMD Division of IT alerted our office of a bill processing duplication that occurred to approximately 5000 student records.  This resulted in the affected student accounts showing charges for tuition and fees for the Fall 2020 term twice.  The issue was detected immediately and a resolution put in place to reverse the error.  Please be aware that corrections have been made and all accounts are now reflected accurately.  In addition, no late fees have or will be assessed relating to the erroneous charges.  No action is needed on your part and the issue is fixed.
